It's been a long time since I posted anything on my travels. It's not that I've not been anywhere. It's just that I've gotten to be lazy. Perhaps I need someone to crack the whip and make me write something. Unfortunately I have none, if you know what I mean.
So now I've decided to blog on my recent travel to Scotland's capital, Edinburgh.
I've been staying here in the UK since August 21st 2011. Reading is now my official residence till I return India in 2012. As I'm here for a while, thought of exploring the country. So obviously Scotland was right at the top of my must see places. Edinburgh was the first choice, interestingly.
Plan to go to Scotland was in my mind since a long time now. Booked my hotel tickets sometime in November via an excellent site called www.booking.com This website helps you to books hotels (atleast this is what I use for!) at acheaper rate if booked in advance. For instance, for 3 nights in Scots I got a good price of $120! for a single bedroom. Now according to some, its still costly, but to the others its a steal!. Booked my self at King's Manor.
